THE PROJECT

This project began when I met the owners of Bossa Studio. After introducing myself as a filmmaker I expressed a huge interest in making a trailer for their game. Monstermind is a beautiful project in terms of design, game strategy and story telling in which they rightfully won a BAFTA in 2012 for the Best Online Browser Game.

I started off the project by fleshing out around 10 different storylines that involved each of the different game characters and the client decided that Eva’s story would be the one that we would take into production.

The video tells the story of Eva, a beautiful girl that wants to catch the attention of the press and become famous by being caught by the cities monsters. I chose to use the three-act form of storytelling to create a real cinematic feel. The story was edited in 2 parts.

I met with Fablemaze who produced the film, which ended up being a great experience and the final film shows this.
